Okay, a bit of a crazy combo for you today…
Gummy. Bear. White Chocolate. Cupcakes.
Yes, I said gummy bear white chocolate cupcakes. My daughter came home from camp last week and told me that one of her teachers was having a birthday and that white chocolate covered gummy bears were her favorite. (Wait, those exist?) I figured I could try and bring together the flavors of white chocolate and gummy bears in something birthday appropriate, cupcakes!
It turns out this idea isn’t too crazy, Dylan’s Candy Bar apparently sells a Gummy Bear Cupcake which you can check out over on The Cupcake Critic. So as crazy as the combo sounds, there must be some sort of a market for it. I have to admit, they are really cute and colorful.
To make these I used a white cake mix and topped them with a white chocolate frosting. A really, really delicious white chocolate frosting that is CRAZY good. Like I should start putting white chocolate in all frosting good.
After frosting these, I just added gummy bears. Super easy. Think of all the fun candies you can add to top your cupcakes.
