Making chocolate dipped Oreos, or chocolate covered Oreos, is super simple. Here is what you need and the steps you will take.
How Do You Make Chocolate Covered Oreos
Items You Need
To make these festive treats, you need candy melts, Regular or Mini Oreos and sprinkles. There are so many colors of candy melts, so pick whatever suits your needs. For today we are going to go with Mini Oreos and a red, white and blue theme, perfect for Memorial Day or Fourth of July.

Steps To Take
Start by placing your candy melts in three separate microwave safe dishes and heat for 30 seconds at a time on half power. Remove bowls from the microwave and stir and continue microwaving 30 seconds at a time after that until candy is melted and easily stirred.
I like to use plastic spoons I can just throw in the recycling bin later so I don’t have extra clean up)
Dip your mini Oreos halfway into each of the colors and sprinkle them right away. If you wait too long the candy coating may set before you get the sprinkles on.
You will want to use small sprinkles for this since you are using mini Oreos. Place the Oreos on wax paper or a play to give the melted candy time to harden
So cute and seriously simple to make! These are so fun for parties or for sprinkling a little fun into any day. These also make excellent cake decorations as seen on my Oreo Ice Cream Cake.
