If ever two foods were made for each other, it’s chocolate and peanut butter. I’m an unashamed nut for this combo and love finding new ways to enjoy it, from my all-time favorite Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies to decadent Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake.
I don’t think I’ve ever met a chocolate and peanut butter dessert I didn’t like.
Chocolate Cookies with Peanut Butter Chips deliver just the right balance of sweet chocolate-y goodness with the nutty flavor of peanut butter.
I knew I’d like the flavors but I was surprised by just how perfect the smooth silky texture of the peanut butter chips paired with the chocolate cookie.
I used both peanut butter chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips in this recipe. If you want more peanut butter flavor, feel free to replace the chocolate chips with more peanut butter chips instead.
Mini-peanut butter cups would also be amazing in this cookie recipe, I think. Then again, I’d probably put peanut butter cups in just about everything if I could! However you make Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies, they’re sure to be a hit.
I’ll be including these cookies on my holiday cookie trays this year for friends and family, and I might have to make a batch or two to keep all to myself, too. This recipe makes about 3 dozen standard sized cookies so there will be plenty to share!
