Can this be made ahead of time and cooked later?
Christi Johnstone says
I haven’t done so myself, but I don’t see why not!
Myrtle says
Can this be prepared ahead of time, so I can just pop it in the oven when I get home?
Barb says
My daugh served it for a bd party. Loved it and going to make it next month when youth group is at our house. I’m sure it will be a hit. I will use cottage cheese.
Nicole says
How long do I cook this if I cut the recipe in half?
Christi Johnstone says
I haven’t tried it so I can’t say for certain, but I don’t think the bake time will change much.
MRee says
I’m not a huge fan of ricotta. Is there a different cheese although it was delicious I would like to try it without ricotta or a different cheese. What do you think?
Christi Johnstone says
As a fan of ricotta, I’m not well versed in substitution options. Growing up my mom used cottage cheese, so that’s an option. But if you have something you typically use in place of ricotta, I’d try that.
Thomas says
I made a meat sauce as I like meat, also the cook time is a little over an hour (40 +20).
I liked it and will try again, maybe with a lobster ravioli and a cream sauce.
Thank you!

Very tasty! First time I made this was for company & it was a hit. Making it again tonight. I do make my own sauce, tho.
Tatjana R says
Anything different if the ravioli aren’t frozen?
Christi Johnstone says
The bake time might not take quite as long.
Pat says
I bought 3 cheese ravioli. Can I still make this lasagna adding ricotta or is that cheese overload?
Christi Johnstone says
Pat, I don’t think cheese overload exists. 🙂 I say still use the ricotta!
