Are you ready for the big game this weekend? Better question, are you ready for the food? I’m sharing my favorite game day dip recipes with you today, and they could not be easier!
Here’s the thing with entertaining. It can kind of stress me out.
I’m pretty sure I’m not alone on this. In order to reduce the stress and enjoy time with my family and friends, I am always looking for ways to keep things simple, so that you can focus on the fun and food, and not the prep.
These two delicious dip recipes can be whipped up in minutes and you can pair them with all kinds of finger foods.
I have a three ingredient dessert dip recipe for you, and a copycat dip recipe for you that tastes like my favorite Green Goddess dip from a fondue restaurant we go to. Each of these dips are so good that I won’t judge you if you want to eat them with a spoon. š They both start with Shamrock Farms Sour Cream.
Okay, let’s start with the Green Goddess dip. When I say I LOVE this dip, I can’t really convey how much I LOVE this dip. When we go out for fondue there’s chocolate, there’s cheese, there’s steak, yet this dip is the star in my book. It’s super easy to make at home and takes just minutes. If you can make it up a day ahead, it’s even better, but it’s still incredible if you just whip it up and serve it right away.
For this dip you need cream cheese, chives, parsley, white onion, milk and Shamrock Farms Sour Cream. Every Shamrock Farms product begins with pure, wholesome, nutritious milk with no added growth hormones. Its smooth and creamy texture is perfect for topping or using as a high-quality recipe ingredient. You toss everything into a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer for about two minutes. That’s all there is to it!
I can, and have, used this dip on everything. I actually love it on a burger and have been known to put a scoop on top of a steak. I’m hard pressed to find anything this isn’t a great match for.
You know I have dessert covered! This dessert dip is about as easy as it gets, and if you’ve never tried it, you might be shocked at just how delicious it is given it’s simplicity. All you need is brown sugar, vanilla and Shamrock Farms Sour Cream.
Pour it all in a bowl and stir. I’m pretty sure you could make this dip in the dark, with one hand behind your back. It’s THAT simple. But wow is it good! It’s delicious with everything, but I think it really shines when paired with fruit.
Whip up some dips, stick out some snacks, and you are set for an easy and delicious time with family and friends. If your family and friends like to help out, let them bring the fruit, cookies, veggies, cheese… this is such an easy way for everyone to contribute.
