Sweet and delicious red velvet cookie bars topped with decadent cream cheese frosting.
I’ve been whipping up some fun red, white and blue recipes this week to get ready for the 4th of July, and my daughter requested I make some red velvet bars with cream cheese frosting. You just can’t go wrong with cream cheese frosting, can you?
These bars use the same red velvet cookie bar recipe as my Red, White And Blue Bars, but I skipped the M&Ms and added the cream cheese frosting.
If you really wanted to go crazy, you could do both M&Ms and cream cheese frosting. I won’t judge. I also won’t judge if you eat the frosting with a spoon right from the bowl, just extend that same courtesy my way if you would. 😉
To make these, simply make the Red, White And Blue Bars (and leave out the M&Ms) and top with this delicious cream cheese frosting recipe (below).
