I am a big fan of teachers. BIG. We have three teachers in my family – my brother and two sister in laws. They are out there doing one of the hardest and most important jobs I can think of. They give of themselves in ways that can’t even be counted and plant seeds that will grow through the next generation. I truly think we need to appreciate teachers every single day and it’s great that we have a week devoted to that.
I thought it would be fun to check out some ideas that bakers and bloggers have come up with for Teacher Appreciation Week.
I’ll start with a few of my own…
I made up a free printable to go with these. Feel free to download it right here.

I found a big fake fruit apple and thought I could make it into some kind of neat teacher gift for my daughter’s teacher. I was thinking about taking a class picture to put on the apple and have each child sign his/her name on the apple. I am not really sure how this will look or if it will even work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to make this apple into a really cool teacher gift? Thanks!
